Google's Fitbit Air, the company's screenless fitness tracker, has reportedly surfaced in Indian retail stores weeks before its official launch, with units said to be priced at around Rs. 16,000. Google Fitbit Air: Retail stock surfaces early
Images shared online, spotted first by SmartPrix, show boxed units of the Fitbit Air already available at an Indian retail outlet, with one seller reportedly pricing the device at approximately Rs. 16,000. Google had earlier confirmed that the Fitbit Air would launch in India in October 2026 alongside the Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5, but has not announced a specific launch date, official price, or retail partners so far.
Google Fitbit Air: How the price compares globally
The Fitbit Air debuted internationally in May at $99.99, which roughly converts to Rs. 9,500. However, early listings on Amazon India had already pointed to a steeper local price, with the black Performance Loop variant appearing at Rs. 17,380 and the pink variant at Rs. 18,490. The Rs. 16,000 figure being reported now falls within that range, though it remains unofficial pending Google's confirmation.
Google Fitbit Air: Hardware and health tracking features
The Fitbit Air is built around an optical heart-rate sensor, a three-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, red and infrared sensors for SpO2 readings, and a skin temperature sensor. It supports heart rate variability tracking, breathing rate, resting heart rate, sleep stage tracking, AFib-related heart rhythm alerts, and automatic recognition for more than 140 activities, along with Cardio Load and Readiness scores.
Google is bundling a three-month trial of Fitbit Health Premium with the device, giving users access to the Google Health Coach experience along with Gemini-powered coaching tools.
Google Fitbit Air: Build and battery
The tracker weighs around 5.2 grams on its own and about 12 grams with the band attached. It is built using recycled polycarbonate and PBT plastics, paired with a textile band and a stainless-steel buckle. Google rates battery life at up to seven days, and says a five-minute charge can deliver a full day of use. The Fitbit Air is compatible with Android 11 or later and iOS 16.4 or later.
Google Fitbit Air: Colour options confirmed for India
Google had already showcased a pink Performance Loop version of the Fitbit Air during its Pixel 11 briefing in India. The newly surfaced retail images now confirm black and blue units are also headed to the Indian market alongside the pink variant. A limited-edition Stephen Curry version of the tracker is reportedly coming to India as well, though it has not yet been photographed in retail stock.

The Rs. 16,000 price point currently in circulation stems from unofficial retail stock and should not be treated as final.
