Three Duped Of ₹3.29 Lakh By Cyber Conmen In Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Three people were allegedly duped of Rs 3,28935 in separate cyber fraud cases reported under Ayodhya Nagar police station limits. Police registered cases after receiving e-zero FIRs from the cyber cell and have launched investigations.

In the first case, Arvinder Kaur, a resident of Durgesh Vihar, allegedly lost Rs 2.41 lakh. According to her complaint, an unidentified caller contacted her and introduced himself as another person. After gaining her confidence, the accused allegedly manipulated her into transferring the money.
In the second case, Rana Mohinder Pratap, a resident of New Minal Residency, was allegedly cheated of Rs 98,935 by the accused who contacted him while posing as one of his relatives.
In the third case, Gitesh Ganesh, a resident of Ashoka Garden, allegedly lost Rs 88,000 after being threatened online. According to his complaint, the accused claimed to be associated with an investigating agency and threatened to implicate him in a case.
Fearing legal action, he was allegedly forced to transfer the money. Ayodhya Nagar police station incharge Mahesh Lilhare said all three cases were registered. Police are examining the bank accounts, mobile numbers and digital transaction.
