The Philadelphia Eagles are waiving at least two of their eight picks from the 2026 NFL Draft.
On Saturday, it was reported that they cut seventh-round pick Cole Wisniewski.

On Sunday, it was reported that they cut fellow seventh-round pick Keyshawn James-Newby.
Neither cut comes as a surprise. Both Wisniewski and KJN missed a lot of practice time this offseason due to injury issues. They simply weren’t able to make a case for the Eagles to keep them on the roster. KJN did have a couple flashes over the past week but it was too little, too late.
Assuming these guys clear waivers, which seems likely, the Eagles will probably look to sign them to their 16-player practice squad.
With more cuts yet to come, here’s a look at the remaining six picks currently still on the Eagles’ roster:
- WR Makai Lemon
- TE Eli Stowers
- OT Markel Bell
- QB Cole Payton
- OG Micah Morris
- DT Uar Bernard
It’s also possible the Eagles could keep at least one undrafted rookie free agent, if not multiple. Joshua Weru seems like a contender to be on the team, especially if KJN isn’t making the roster.
