Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of striker Jonathan David from Juventus on a season-long loan deal.

The 26-year-old arrives at the Riyadh Air Metropolitan Stadium following just one season at Juventus where he struggled and scored just eight times in 47 games for the club.
David scored three times at this summer's World Cup for Canada and is his country's all-time leading goalscorer.
Striker Julian Alvarez has been linked with a move away from the club all summer with the likes of Barcelona interested in the signature of the Argentina international.
Alvarez could still leave the club and Atletico will want to bolster their attacking options after Antoine Griezmann left at the end of last season.
The 26-year-old has only played 24 minutes for Atletico this season and was left out of the squad that beat Sevilla 3-1 on Saturday.
