WNBA writer Robin Lundberg has suggested that Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark may have become underrated.

Clark was in top form prior to heading off to compete at the FIBA World Cup, scoring 30-plus points in two games in a row.
Despite this, the Fever player missed out on a Player of the Week award to Angel Reese recently, perhaps backing up the thought process that she has become underrated.

Speaking to Yahoo Sports in a clip shared on X/Twitter, Lundberg claimed: “Caitlin Clark can absolutely be the best player of all time.”
But he then later added: “Sometimes I feel like Caitlin Clark has weirdly become underrated.”
A number of fans have now reacted to that claim, including one who wrote: “Underrated??? People literally only talk about her. What is he talking about? How many times has he mentioned other players?”
Another commented: “I don’t think they underrate her. They just hate her and will never give her credit for anything great she does.”
“Overrated is more like it and overhyped,” added a third.
A fourth tweeted: “You don’t say. You had people saying she’s not a top-4 guard l*** when she’s a top-3 MVP candidate and a first team all WNBA player setting records nightly lol.”
And a fifth stated: “They just woke a monster, they better watch out! They aren’t ready for it.”
Clark is already perhaps viewed as one of the best players in the WNBA, but it may feel to some at times that she does not get the credit she deserves.
She is in the MVP race this year, but others like A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Mitchell could win it ahead of Caitlin despite the Fever player creating more points per game than any other woman in the league this season (41.4).
