Marcus Rashford has commemorated his new shirt number with fresh ink, marking his reintegration into the Manchester United setup.
The 28-year-old England forward appeared destined to leave Old Trafford permanently last summer after joining Barcelona on a loan deal that included an option for a full transfer. Even after the Spanish giants opted against activating that clause, speculation surrounding a permanent departure has continued to follow Rashford.

However, with Michael Carrick now in the dugout, Rashford is back in contention at The Theatre of Dreams, having started in the commanding 5-2 victory over Ipswich Town last Sunday, as per The Mirror.

Rashford has been handed the No. 9 jersey for the current campaign, widely interpreted as a clear signal that he has been identified as a key figure in Carrick's plans.
The lifelong United supporter has since added the iconic number to his growing collection of shirt number tattoos.
In a recent social media post, Rashford revealed he has inked both the No. 9 and the No. 14 jersey he wore during his loan spell at Barcelona last season, joining his previously tattooed shirt numbers.
His comeback to the first-team picture at Manchester United arrives 18 months after his career at the club appeared all but finished.
Rashford was initially loaned to Aston Villa after being frozen out by Ruben Amorim, before subsequently making the move to Barcelona last summer.

Speaking after the forward impressed in his preferred left wing position against Ipswich, Carrick stated that Rashford's return to the squad felt essentially like a brand new signing.
"I think the situation that we're in, I think the business that we've managed to do, I'm pleased with," he said. "I think we're a better group, a better squad, potentially a better team. Adding Marcus into that feels like a new signing. So, in that respect, we're quite happy."
Carrick added: "[I'm] really pleased with Marcus. He's adding to the group for us, for sure. He's one of our own. He's living his dream, playing here now and trying to be successful and win.
"So, whatever's gone on, I think part of this club, there are players that have come and come back sometimes, or players that maybe were going to leave, didn't leave.
"It's always about what you do next and what your intentions are. He's been fantastic since he came back, I have to say."
