There were several top performers across the state in girls high school sports, but only one can be voted as the Clarion Ledger athlete of the week for Sept. 7-12.
Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

Nominations
Brittan Dawkins, Walnut: Dawkins had 54 digs and three aces in Walnut's three matches
Ramsey Milling, Madison Central: Milling recorded a 69-round and was awarded low medalist at the Northwest Rankin Invitational.
Madelyn Rodrigue, Jackson Academy: Rodrigue produced 33 digs, 23 kills and five aces in Jackson Academy's five matches.
Claire Russell, Pisgah: Russell had 50 digs and three aces in Pisgah's two matches against Nania Waya and Union.
Hadleigh Woods, Lewisburg: Woods recorded 34 digs in Lewisburg's two matches against Hernando and Southaven.
