New England Patriots safety Craig Woodson, who suffered a shoulder injury on Sunday, had his left arm in a sling in the locker room following the team’s Week 2 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to MassLive’s Chris Mason.

Woodson exited in the second half of the game and did not return, prompting New England to make adjustments in their defensive backfield. The Patriots relied on reserve personnel en route to a 20-3 win over the Steelers.
No immediate diagnosis or recovery timetable was provided for Woodson following the game. His availability for New England’s upcoming Week 3 matchup will depend on further evaluation during the week. Woodson was one of several players who were ruled out for the remainder of the game after getting hurt. That list also includes Mike Onwenu, Dre'Mont Jones, Eli Raridon and Dell Pettus.
