The Pittsburgh Steelers walked into Huntington Bank Field with Jalen Ramsey injured. Now Derrick Harmon rose as the latest injury against the Cleveland Browns.

Except Harmon needed to have the medical cart come out. The defensive lineman left during the first half of the Thursday Night Football contest.

Steelers director of communications Burt Lauten provided this update following the injury. 

“Steelers defensive end Derrick Harmon sustained a foot injury and has been taken to the locker room. He is questionable to return to tonight’s game,” Lauren posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter.

Pittsburgh isn’t just dealing with the early NFL Injury pileup. But the TNF showdown marked the first game following the league’s latest blockbuster trade.

All-Pro cornerback Joey Porter Jr. got traded away to the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday night. Pittsburgh sent multiple draft picks including a future second rounder to the Cowboys in the Porter deal. The Steelers, in the process, officially dump their top lockdown cornerback after struggling to sign him toward a lengthy extension.

Porter’s missing presence and impact showed. Cleveland raced to an early 21-7 lead before halftime, with quarterback Deshaun Watson picking on the side vacated by Porter. He went 14-of-17 passing for 181 yards and tossed a late second quarter touchdown to Harold Fannin Jr. Watson also turned rookie wideout Denzel Boston into a dangerous weapon on the Steelers, catching three passes for 74 yards and averaging 24.7 yards per catch.

Harmon never recorded any stats during the first half prior to the injury.
