A’ja Wilson was brutally honest about her recent conduct with a fan following the series closer in Game 3 between the Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever on Thursday night.

With just over four minutes left in the fourth quarter of Game 2, Indiana’s Sophie Cunningham was called for a foul on Wilson. As Cunningham protested the foul, a fan seated behind the baseline stood up and pointed at Wilson.
Wilson stepped toward the fan and said, “You don’t point at me, you don’t point at me.” Teammates had to pull her back, but she fortunately didn’t face discipline from the WNBA for her behavior.

Wilson delivered another crucial performance to have the Aces eliminate the Fever and advance to the next round. The star forward reflected on her conduct after the game, understanding she needed to set an example for herself and the team following those events.

How A’ja Wilson, Aces played against Fever
A’ja Wilson and the Aces had a competitive series against the Fever. They won Game 1 by a 102-85 score before losing 99-89 on the road in Game 2. Despite this, they bounced back with a solid 94-83 victory in Game 3 to advance to the next round.
Four players scored in double-digits for Las Vegas in the win, including Wilson. She put together a stat line of 36 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, and one assist. She shot 11-of-18 from the field, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, and 12-of-15 from the free-throw line. Chelsea Gray came next with 23 points and five assists, Jackie Young had 18 points and eight rebounds, while Jewell Loyd provided 11 points and three rebounds.
The Aces await their next opponent in the semifinals of the playoffs. They take on the winner between the Dallas Wings and the Golden State Valkyries as Game 1 starts on Oct. 4.
