Tropical storm impacts Gadsden area football games
· Yahoo Sports
Changes are again coming to the Gadsden-area high school football schedule.
Referee shortages had already rescheduled the Sand Rock-Fyffe game to Thursday, Oct. 8, but Tropical Storm Isaias has caused at least one Gadsden-area game to do the same for AHSAA Week 7.

Southside's trip to Pell City has been moved to Thursday night "out of abundance of caution," according to the Pell City High School Facebook page.
A state of emergency was put in place Wednesday for 40 counties in Alabama, but none in the Gadsden area. Pell City is in St. Clair County, which is not listed in the order. Isaias is expected to make landfall along the Gulf Coast on Friday night, Oct. 9, or early Saturday morning, Oct. 10, bringing heavy rain and wind to the state.
On Friday night, there is an 80% chance of rain for Gadsden. There is a 55% chance at 7 p.m., when high school games are kicking off. But those chances increase to 100% on Saturday with winds up to 25 miles per hour.
Keep up below with all the changes to the Gadsden-area football schedule.

Watch AHSAA football games on NFHS Network
Most of the Gadsden area football programs are available to stream on the NFHS Network. It is a subscription service that cost $11.99 but gives access to all content on the site across all sports, so you can keep up with volleyball as well this fall.
It is up to the schools to provide the stream, so it's not a guarantee all games in all sports are available but most area schools look to have at least some football games on the site.
