Liverpool welcomed Manchester City at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.

Ryan Gravenberch picked up two yellow cards in the second half and was sent off by the referee in the 62nd minute. Erling Haaland scored the opener in the 65th minute before Jeremy Doku doubled his team’s lead just three minutes later.
