The Patriots had a key piece return in Week 6 against the Jets. A.J. Brown came off IR for the first time since Week 1. It came just in time as New England faced an AFC East rival. However, Brown was quiet all game.

Drake Maye threw for 235 yards. Brown was thrown to ten times. He initially dropped three passes, the first time he's done so in his career.

Brown earned 27 yards, one yard higher than the 26 he had before he got injured against the Seahawks. He also caught the ball three times in that game.

The Jets produced an onside kick at the end of the game. Brown let the ball slip through his fingers. Luckily, DeMario Douglas saved the game by grabbing the ball.

A second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Brown was traded from the Eagles to the Patriots for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 first-round pick.

Brown will attempt to quickly turn things around when the Patriots head to Chicago to face the Bears on Thursday night.
