Chandler Smith wins NASCAR Truck race at Martinsville in 2026 Chase

The NASCAR Truck Series competed at Martinsville Speedway and it was a pivotal event. With two races left in 2026, Kaden Honeycutt and Layne Riggs are battling it out for the championship. However, despite a strong run from Riggs, it was his Front Row Motorsports teammate who ended up in victory lane.

Chandler Smith and the No. 38 team for Front Row Motorsports won the Black's Tire 200 at Martinsville, earning their third victory of the 2026 Truck Series season. Smith was able to pass Riggs on the final restart, securing one more win with the No. 38 team before moving to the NASCAR O'Reilly Series in 2027.

Now, Honeycutt carries a 20-point lead over Riggs heading into the championship finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Both drivers control their destines after leaving points on the board at Martinsville. It will be the first Chase championship finale in the new format, and both drivers are ready to win a title.
