Lions will have starting CB in lineup vs. Vikings; see inactives here

DETROIT — The Detroit Lions will have cornerback Roger McCreary in the lineup as they look to slow down the star-studded receiving corps of the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field on Sunday, Nov. 1.
McCreary, who was questionable with a foot injury entering the weekend, is officially active for the contest. The Lions' five inactives are all healthy scratches.

McCreary has been a key riser in recent weeks, a big component of the Lions' secondary getting back on track after a rough start through four weeks. The Lions have allowed 38 combined points in their last two games after allowing an average of 32 points through their first four.
McCreary was tied for a game-high 67 defensive snaps in last week's 20-17 win over the Green Bay Packers, allowing two catches for 30 yards on five targets.
Minnesota's offense has struggled to get going this season. The Vikings rank 29th in total offense (281.7 yards per game), 29th in passing (162.3 yards per game) and 23rd in scoring (20.8 points per game).
Still, the Vikings' lethal crop of pass catchers makes them a tough cover, and the Lions are fortunate to have McCreary in the lineup.
