The chase for a World Series title will begin with a wild-card quadrupleheader on Tuesday, Sept. 29, and may not end until a chilling, thrilling conclusion on Halloween night.
MLB released its official 2026 postseason and broadcast schedule on Monday, Aug. 10, charting out the path the 12 playoff teams will need to navigate to achieve the ultimate goal of winning a championship ring.

This year's Fall Classic, televised exclusively on Fox, will begin on Friday, Oct. 23, at the home of the team with the better regular-season record. Game 7, if the series goes that far, will be played on Saturday, Oct. 31.
What is the AL/NL wild-card schedule?
The best-of-three AL and NL wild-card playoffs will begin with all four series playing on the same days. The division winners with the worst overall record in each league, along with the wild-card teams with the best record in each league will host all games.
