WEEK 4 RANKINGS
1, Little Chute (4-0)
The Mustangs erupted for 29 points in the fourth quarter to pull away from Luxemburg-Casco in their 49-14 victory. Reece Joten with 176 yards rushing to lead the way. Little Chute has a game against winless Sheboygan Falls this week before a showdown with undefeated Freedom on Sept. 25.

2, Freedom (4-0)
Another huge game for running back Axzil Eggert with 109 yards rushing, four touchdowns on the ground and another receiving TD. Mason Van Groll had eight tackles, including two for loss, to lead the defense.

Next: Sept. 18 at Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian.
3, Winneconne (4-0)
The Wolves blank Fox Valley Lutheran in the second half to rally from a first-half deficit to win 22-14. Henry Chase had 272 total yards, two touchdowns rushing and another passing.

4, Appleton North (3-1)
North gets big plays on defense and special teams in a 14-13 victory at Fond du Lac. The offense will have to do more this week against Kaukauna.

5, Kaukauna (3-1)
The Ghosts continue to ascend in the rankings after a 34-21 victory against Neenah. Quarterback Ryan Carrel (561 yards passing, 232 yards rushing, 12 total touchdowns) and Muhammad Jobe (445 yards rushing, 4 TDs) give Ghosts tremendous balance.

6, Menasha (3-1)
The Bluejays are up two more spots in the rankings and have won three consecutive games after a 35-7 victory at Manitowoc. Keonte Thigpen had four touchdowns in the win.

Next: Sept. 18 vs. Green Bay West (Banta Bowl).
7, Shiocton (4-0)
Shiocton's defense has three shutouts on the season following an 8-0 blanking of Northland Pines. The Chiefs have allowed just 13 points all season and are up two spots in the rankings. Antonio Rangel had 75 yards rushing and a touchdown in the win.

8, Neenah (1-3)
Neenah down several spots after loss to Kaukauna. The Rockets' three defeats have come against teams with a combined 11-1 record.

9, Fox Valley Lutheran (2-2)
The Foxes are down a few spots after loss at Winneconne. They will look to rebound with upcoming games against New London and at Shawano over the next two weeks.

10, Seymour (3-1)
The Thunder is back in the rankings after a 43-7 victory against Waupaca. Junior running back Greg Salzman has 628 yards rushing with five touchdowns on the season.

Next: Sept. 18 at Xavier.
Others: Kimberly (1-3), Brillion (3-1), St. Mary Catholic (3-1), Appleton West (3-1), Weyauwega-Fremont (3-1).
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Ryan Carrel, Kaukauna
Carrel had three touchdown runs (3, 3, 26 yards) in the Ghosts' 34-21 victory over Neenah. He added 177 yards passing and a touchdown.
Axzil Eggert, Freedom
Eggert had 109 yards rushing and scored five total touchdowns, including four rushing, in a 49-7 win over Denmark.
Gavin Frega, Appleton North
Frega blocked an extra-point attempt to help Appleton North hold off Fond du Lac 14-13. He finished with seven total tackles and had 1.5 sacks.
Jaxson Kleist, Brillion
Kleist rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' 41-7 victory over New Holstein. He also had five tackles on defense.
Elliott Neumann, Xavier
Neumann returned an interception 60 yards for a score in the Hawks' 16-14 victory over Wrightstown.
Dominic Osgood, St. Mary Catholic
Osgood had three catches for 99 yards, including a 91-yard touchdown catch, to lead the Zephyrs past Chilton 28-6.
AJ Pheifer, Hortonville
Pheifer had 160 yards passing, 60 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the ground in the Polar Bears' 18-0 victory over Oshkosh West.
Greg Salzman, Seymour
Salzman had 126 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the Thunder’s 43-7 victory against Waupaca.
Brett Singler, Shiocton
Singler had eight total tackles, with three for loss and two sacks, in the Chiefs' 8-0 victory at Northland Pines.
Keonte Thigpen, Menasha
Thigpen scored four touchdowns in the Bluejays' 35-7 victory over Manitowoc. He scored on runs of 7, 6, 7 and 4 yards.
