Southern Miss football vs Tulane start time, TV channel announced for Week 4 game

The start time was announced for Southern Miss football's Week 4 road game against Tulane on Sept. 26.

The Golden Eagles (1-1) will travel to New Orleans to play the Green Wave (1-1) at 6 p.m. CT at Yulman Stadium. The game will air on ESPN+.

Southern Miss and Tulane first faced each other during the 1979 season and have played 34 times since. The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series 24-10. The programs last played in 2023, with Tulane winning 21-3 in Hattiesburg.

Tulane coach Will Hall was the head coach at Southern Miss from 2021 to 2024 and compiled a record of 14-30 before being fired. He was hired to be Tulane's passing game coordinator in 2025, and promoted after then-coach Jon Sumrall was hired by Florida.

Southern Miss hosts UConn (1-1) on Sept. 19 (6 p.m. CT, ESPN+), while Tulane will travel to Kansas State.

The Golden Eagles beat Alcorn State 49-3 in Week 1 and lost to Auburn 43-8 in Week 2.

Tulane lost to Duke 17-3 and beat South Alabama 28-24.
